Passion? Profession? Money?

"To be successful, the first thing you got to do is fall in love with your work."
- Sister Mary Laurette
"If you can dream it, you can do it. "
- Walt Disney
"It is your attitude, not your aptitude, that determines your altitude."
- Zig Ziglar
These quotations would probably not even have been in existence, had these great epitomes of wisdom not chosen the paths directed by their hearts. Passion is something which can be defined as the ardent desire of the heart to do something. It is a feeling that fills a person with unbounded esctacy. . If such a feeling could be merged with one's profession, then, needless to say, the horizons he can touch, are probably beyond the levels of comprehension. Until and unless your work is your passion, you don't enjoy the pleasure of the job. Because to be in a world that is constantly trying to make something else out of you, is the greatest accomplishment.
Education is merely not confined to the walls of the classroom and the pages of books. Education offers a wider perspective. Something which sets you free from the darkness of ignorance, is education. Something which makes you realise your love for work, is education.
"Work is Worship.". A quote that probably all of us have been hearing since our childhood days in morning assemblies. How many of us have been able to imprint it's true essence in our actual lives? Only the ones who have actually been able to realise their dreams.. Work can be worship, only and only if, what you envisage, is exactly what you persue. Agreed, monetary aspects are very essential in one's life. And often the case is seen, when your passion does not provide you effective returns. People tend to sideline their love, their passion for the sake of a better future, or more aptly phrased - financial future. But in this case, a better financial future often devoids one of the mental pleasure, that you probably have got to experience, had you chosen the-much-controversial-but-better path - directed by your instinct.
In the long run, one false decision, can ruin your life. A pile of frustration bears the power of nullifying all the short term happiness that one may have derived from a financially promising job. It is not essential that an academically weak student cannot make a mark anywhere in life. You need not be a topper to be a millionaire. You just need to love what you do !
If your passion becomes your job, not only do you enjoy it, but also keep getting better, day by day. All the Master, PHDs and other great scholars in their respective fields are so, not because of their percentages, but because of their constant developing flair. When your prowess gets the right direction, you constantly polish your talent because you are passionate about it. As a consequence of which, you make the best and the most of yourself.
Now what can get better than this ?
So , in the battle between mind and instinct, the instinct should always triumph. Eventually, the desire of the heart and instinct, merged with the wisdom of the mind, will lead you to that horizon of success, from where there is no looking back !
